Firmware Update
This feature is currently only available for the E RIDE PRO SR.
Updating your firmware is essential to ensure your device operates with the latest features, improvements, and security patches. We are constantly working to enhance the performance and functionality of our products, and firmware updates play a crucial role in this process.
Firmware updates are fully transmitted and installed via the mobile application.
Open the firmware menu
Open the app and connect to your bike. Navigate to “diagnostics” and select “Firmware Update”.
Firmware overview
Some bikes may require selection of your specific model before proceeding with the update. Please see below for more details.
After a short loading time, you will see an overview of your current firmware version and the latest available version.
Tap “continue” to start the update process.
Update your bike
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update. Ensure that your bike remains powered on and within range of your mobile device during the update process.
Model selection
Some bikes required you to select your specific model before proceeding with the firmware update.
The model cannot be changed once the firmware is installed. Please double-check your selection before proceeding. Make sure to select the correct model to avoid potential issues when riding your bike.

| Offroad | Offroad use only. For all bikes without street approval. |
| L1e | Street legal bike in europe, limited to 45 km/h. |
| L3e | Street legal bike in europe, limited to 80 km/h. |
Firmwares are not interchangeable between models. Make sure to select the correct model for your bike - even if you intend to use it offroad only.
